Hey, I’m Dan. I’m a sophomore at the University of Colorado in Boulder and I’m majoring in Architecture with a Dance minor. I dance literally ALL the time, no matter where I am (even in church/class/safeway/etc.) If I had to pick a nickname for myself it would definitely be Pilot. Watch the movie Highway with Jake and Jared and you’ll understand the epicness of that name. Note: I know epicness is not actually a word but I decided to use it anyway for emphasis. Subnote: Jake = Jake Gyllenhaal and Jared = Jared Leto, I apologize for the confusion. I love movies.
I come from an amazing family who have been my support system through every trial in my life. Since I’ve lived in the Boulder area practically my whole life I do all the local hippie stuff: Climbing, Ultimate Frisbee, Slacklining and Hookah to name a few. My favorite of which would have to be climbing. I absolutely love spending time with God on top of some of his ridiculously awesome creations.
Kenya is going to be amazing. I’m excited to see what God is going to do in all of our lives and how He is wants to use us in the villages. I can’t wait to meet you all, training is going to be tiiiiiight! See you soon!
