I love Christ, and I recognize that I am nothing without Him.  In the past year, I have seen God's grace and love so much in my life.  God has shown me how his grace is sufficient, and that His love is unconditional and nothing can change those two things.  The fact that God's love is unconditional really blows my mind sometimes.  And because of this it has changed who I am, and how I view and treat other people in the world.  My favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11, and I constantly wear a ring with this verse inscribed on it.  This reminds me daily of how God has His divine plan, and as long as I am honoring and glorifying Him with my life He will take care of me.  I am very much looking forward to this trip, and how God is going to teach each and everyone one of us while we are in Kenya.  I wanted to let you all know that I pray for you all daily and for the hearts of the people we will encounter.  I look forward to meeting you all.
