My expectations for this trip are rather simple.  First I want to grow.  I have always been in a little community here in the middle of the bible belt.  My faith has never really been challenged.  I have never really had to answer and explain what I believe because for the most part, most people already know, they just choose whether to believe it or not.  I am also not one to go out of my comfort zone, but I think God has other plans for that. He is sending me to Africa where I do not know anyone.  I want God to use this trip to stretch me to the point that I only have Him to look to and seek.    

   I also think God will do amazing things in Kenya.  I cannot wait to see what part of His mission work He will allow us to be a part of.  I cannot wait to see the people who He wants to reach through us.  I am so thankful that God is allowing me to be a part of something that is so much bigger than my little world here in Weatherford Oklahoma. 

   Finally I want to figure out what it is that God is calling me to do with my life.  I have surrendered my life to vocational ministry.  I believe He is wanting me to do that through athletic training.  I am curious to see what He has in mind for my future.  I believe that this trip will help me figure out what He is calling me to do!

   I pray that God does amazing things in all of our lives and the lives of the people we meet on this trip. I cannot wait to see what He has in store.
