I feel like my expectations here will be specific and yet quite vague at the same time, so please bear with me. 

  I am expecting God to do amazing things in Africa, but exactly what those things will  be I am totally unsure.  I know that when we trust in the Lord He will never leave us nor forsake us, and this comforts me each and every day.  I am expecting to grow a lot spiritually because I will be so much more dependent on the Lord, which I'm sure will be both a challenge and an amazing experience at the same time.  The comforts that I am spoiled with each and everyday I think will be appreciated so much more when I return.  This excites me because I think I will have more joy and zest for life than ever before.  As far as team work goes, I can say that I have worked in teams before, but I doubt to the level or extent that we will be working together.  And again this experience is something I have no doubt will teach me many lessons and be truly grateful for.  I continue to pray for all of my teammates as well as for the hearts of the Kenyans that we will encounter.  I can't believe that we are only 5 months away!  I have  no doubt that time will fly.
