hey yall 🙂 my name is reine owens, (like the bird or ren & stimpy or from even stevens). i’m 19 years old and currently living in clanton, alabama. i reckon’ to say that i live in the sticks is an understatement, i don’t have cell phone service at my house if that helps (i can get txts if i stand in the corner of my bathroom)…BUT i did grow up in atlanta, georgia. so i’m city girl gone redneck 🙂
i recently attended georgia southern on a softball scholarship but decided to take a semester off. i moved back home and so now i smell like bbq every night from the bbq joint i work at down the road. my truck is always covered in dirt, i love going off-roading, windows down and music up = wonderfulness 🙂 softball has and will always be my passion, but it is nice to have some time off. living in the country is perfect for loving the outdoors- camping, hiking, kayaking, jetskies, name it and i’m up for it 🙂 but when i do come inside i love to paint, read, edit the pictures/videos i took from outside (photography and videography is my beat) and write, a troubadour at heart. music is my life, i believe music can become a part of you in a way that will allow the lost soul to see the light, but also increase the depth of the darkness you may be living in. music makes any moment a little bit sweeter, it can amend your mood in a simple instance, it can explain your heart when you can’t find the words and can ease your pain when you long to silence your mind.
i’m the youngest of 4, two sisters and a brother. we are all over the place, from atlanta to washington d.c, but at the end of the day we’ve all got each other’s back.
and…our papa is a wonderful papa! my life has been sought in gray, a mix of darkness and light. there were days He had me wrapped in His arms, but i felt i was hanging by a thread, days when He rescued me just in time, days when Lucifer seemed to have my life in His presence than earth alone…but what i learned most in my days is that He loves us beyond anything we could possibly fathom and He will rescue us, He will save us, He will and He does. our papa is a wonderful papa!
